The International Union of Applied Chemistry recently recognized the the 112th element discovered by the Center for Heavy Ion Research in Germany. The element which has not yet been named is said to be about 277 times heavier than that of the hydrogen atom essentially making this the most heavy element yet to be discovered.
If all works out, this should not mess up the periodic table too much in terms of design. YES!
